Product Introduction

Designed with the latest “IFA+ performance triangle” methodology, Inspur Yingxin NF5220 is a 2U dual-way server product with a low power consumption, high reliability and high price performance. It adopts brand-new Intel® Xeon® processors of series 5500. The unique cooling system, modular and hot-plugging redundancy design produce high reliability, expandability and performance. It provides customers with tailored IT platform and is suitable for key applications requiring strong abilities of computation, stability, and expandability.

Functional Characteristics

    Powerful Performance
Using a dual-way 45nm multi-core Intel® Xeon® processors of 5500 series, which is based on QPI architecture, the data transmission rate is high up to 6.4GT/S. With a 4-8MB 3-stage cache, it supports 64-bit expansion, I/O acceleration, Turbo and super thread. Compared with the previous generation, the system application performance of the product is improved by 2.25 times.
With the up-to-date INTEL5500 (24D) chipset, innovative mainboard VR circuit design and energy-saving 2.5” hard drive, the power consumption of the product decreases by 5-12% compared with the previous generation of product, and noise decreases by 4-5 dBs. It supports DPNM power supply management and becomes more energy-saving and environment-friendly.
It uses DDR III memory and 8 memory slots; support DDR 3 800/1066/1333Hz memory; maximum expansion of memory up to 64GB; support 3-channel access; meet the performance requirement of customers and is more energy-saving.
Support 6 pieces of 3.5” SAS/SATA or 12/24 pieces of 2.5” SAS/SATA/SSD hard drives; compatible with hot-plug storage devices.

    Reliability
Improved strain cooling system and side ventilation design facilitate the control of airflow, which guarantees the heat radiation of CPU, memory and the whole system under 2U high expansion conditions. This improves the system reliability, effectively prolongs the service life of components and decreases cost.
Key components including hard drives and power supplies support hot plugging redundancy. Replacement and maintenance of components may be completed without system shutdown, improving the system availability.
Integrate SATA 0, 1,10,5 and SAS RAID 0,1,10; optional HV5 virtual hard drive RAID5; provide customers with reliable data protection plan.

    Intelligent
Provide 3 PCI-E2.0 expansion slots; self-adapting optional components; support mainstream PCI-E; support multiple expansions of customers and reduce expansion cost.
Configured with standard integrated BMC intelligent control chips; support remote control abiding by IPMI2.0 codes; complete management for remote servers; support remote operations, management and deployment system and application system; remote control of operating conditions of servers.
Inspur Ruijie Server Kit contains the following 3 parts: Ruijie Server Management Package, Ruijie System Intelligent Installation Package, and Ruijie System Backup Recovery Package. The kit simplifies the maintenance and management of servers. It provides customers with functions of automatic installation, remote data backup and management.
